From Salah al-Deen province in the north of Iraq, Shababul Salam for peaceful coexistence and rejecting sectarianism came to visit the Holy Shrine. After completing the ziyarah they met with the member of the administrative committee Qaisar Kiko.
The administrative committee of the Holy Shrine met with the heads of departments in order to exert the best efforts and render the best services for the pilgrims to the holy shrine.
The House of the Holy Quran that belongs to the Religious Affairs Department in the Holy Shrine held a ceremony celebrating al-Ghadeer Eid wherein the multitudes of visitors attended.
Dr. Ali Rahmani, the Pakistani ambassador in Iraq, visited the Holy Shrine of Imam Ali (PBUH). Mohammad Razooqi, the head of the Administrative Committee, received him in the hospitality house of the holy shrine.
Among the activities of Eid al-Ghadeer Festival; the Chandeliers Unit that belongs to the Maintenance Department in the Holy Shrine of Imam Ali (PBUH) installed four huge chandeliers next to the Holy Tomb of Imam Ali (PBUH).
The events of al-Ghadeer festival took place in the Holy Shrine of Imam Ali (PBUH). The president of the Shia endowment, the member of the administrative committee, the director general of holy shrines in Iraq, previous secretary generals of the Holy Shrine of Imam Ali (PBUH), teachers and students of Hawza, representatives of the grand marjas, the mayor of Najaf city, officials of the municipality and education directorate of the city, academic staffs, working staffs in the Holy Shrine and the visitors as well attended the festival.
In a delegation, the dignitaries of Mosul visited the Holy Shrine of Imam Ali (PBUH). The head of the Aministrative Committee in the Holy Shrine Mohammad Hassan, the member in the committee Qaisar Kiko, and the Head of the Shia Endowment Sayyid Ala’ al-Mousawi received them.
Ochi Chatoomi, a Japanese journalist, expressed his happiness and delight at visiting the Holy Shrine of Imam Ali (PBUH) in Eid al-Ghadeer.
The dispensary that belongs to the Holy Shrine of Imam Ali (PBUH) received more than twenty thousand persons in Eid al-Ghadeeer.
